china 2007 - part 7

A poor toothless lion...

S. in a rickshaw...

The restaurant were S. and K. ate crazy hot chilly pepper food.

The red plate is the dish of all horrors! (all the red stuff are chilly peppers!)

Cool dragon-beast on top a big bell.

The big bell.

Truck transporting people...

Tourist trap area alert!

Pretty painting.

Another example of "masters of transport".

Calligraphy brushes.

Movie poster from the 20ties.

Wonderfull boots and crazy painting from Mao-dude.

THE cat! Most beautifull cat in the world!!

Just a kitchen in a Hutong house.

Hushpuppy dog in china!

That is a real "Pekingese" doggy.

One second after shooting this picture, the hushpuppy attacked the pekingese... I was too shocked to photograph it.

The proof of crime..yes we did that.
It was nice because the man drove us through the old Hutongs and showed us the interesting houses.
I felt stupid though because he was so thin and all, and he had to bike us through the town..

So Chinese...

The super fantastic old shoe-shop.

And for sure the Tibetan people are far more friendly than the real Chinese.

Shopping in China!

Again: masters in transport!

The beo of Mr. Shao.

Beautifull magnolias in the courtyard.

Very good Chinese modern art! Look at the background!

And our last day: the Great Wall!

I dont have words to describe it, it's just "great"!

In the background on the mountain peaks, you should see parts of the old, unrestorated wall.

We wanted to hike there, but the way was too heavy and too long to go unprepared and without guide.

Sometimes the stairs are so steep, that you cannot walk on it!

Like here...

Last picture in China.. I hope to return one day, it's a very special and wonderfull land!
