3600 people showed up at the gates of the castle to enjoy a fright'ning evening amongst our legion of the Undead.

Victorian Fright Night @ Kasteel van Gaasbeek (BE)
This year, on the night of Halloween, the Castle of Gaasbeek once again opens its gates for anyone daring to enter the enchanted world within.
Prepare yourself for a breathtaking and blood curdling walk through the woods and parklands of the Castle.
The organisation cannot be held responsible for possibly strange meetings with elegant creatures of the underworld and noble nightmoths.
However, when entering the domain of the castle, you will be given the necessary instructions to come through the night unharmed.
Make sure not to miss this unique evening!

I hope you all had a wonderfull afternoon and evening in the castle.
First edition of "Sarabande", a romantic evening in the Rococo castle of Poeke (Belgium)
"Sarabande" is the summer version of our anual winter bal "Gala Nocturna".
We invite you to join us for a historical dance initiation.
After that we offer you a demonstration of historical dance "the Sarabande" and a ballet variation from the piece "Raymonda".
Further on there is an exhibition from my photographs & costumes
and you can enjoy an absinth or honeywine from the bar or an exotic glass of tea from our oriental lounge.
Especially for this evening we also present you genuine "Gestreken Mastellen". (to find out what this sweet delicacy is, you surely have to come to Sarabande!)
